Elanco Pinkeye Shield XT4 is a Moraxella bovis bacterin vaccine formulated to aid in the prevention of infectious bovine keratoconjunctivitis (IBK), commonly known as pinkeye, in cattle. Pinkeye is one of the most economically significant eye diseases in beef and dairy cattle, causing reduced weight gains, decreased milk production, and significant treatment costs. Pinkeye Shield XT4 contains four strains of Moraxella bovis — providing broader protection against the multiple piliated strains responsible for pinkeye outbreaks.
