Elanco Scour Bos 9 is a pre-calving vaccine administered to cows and heifers to protect newborn calves against the four most common causes of calf scours: bovine rotavirus (Types G6 and G10), bovine coronavirus, K99 E. coli, and Clostridium perfringens Type C. By vaccinating the dam 3–6 weeks before calving, maternal antibodies are concentrated in colostrum — providing passive immunity to the calf through first nursing. Calf scours is the leading cause of death in beef calves, making pre-calving vaccination a critical component of any calf health program. This 20 mL vial contains 10 doses.
